More Caterpillar deliveries boost Earthmoving fleet for M O’Brien.

M O’Brien Plant Hire has been busy taking delivery of more new Caterpillar equipment from UK and Ireland dealer Finning. This multi unit order for 2023 includes:

  • Cat 730 (30 tonne) Articulated Dumptrucks
  • D6 Next Gen Dozers with Straight Blades
  • D6 Next Gen Dozers with VPAT Blades
  • D5 Next Gen Dozers with VPAT Blades

M O’Brien is really pleased to continue its relationship with Caterpillar enabling it to supply premium products to its customers sites. The Cat next Gen dozer range integrates perfectly with Trimble’s Earthworks machine control solutions for an enhanced operator experience. These digital machine control solutions provide maximum efficiency on site, removing the possibility of over excavating which would require a larger mount of spoil to be removed and a larger amount of fill material to be brought onto site. This helps not only save on cost but on total Carbon emissions produced by the construction activity.
